Stress is in the AIR

Aloha!

 

Turkey day is around¬†the corner and it’s also FINALS SEASON OH MY GOD SOMEONE PLEASE HELP. This is the best and arguably the worst time of the year. Fortunately, I only have 2 cumulative finals and 1 paper, while the rest are just tests that count as finals. I think I am finally coming to terms with graduating early because it means FEWER FINALS FOR ME. It’s easy to get stressed out but if you’re reading this and you’re a future or a current bluejay I have some pretty decent tips for you:

 

1. DO YOUR BEST – it’s easy to compare to others or psych yourself out by studying for 2450695 hours. Just do what you can.

2. Do not ¬†“own” the stress – Tell yourself it’s okay. It’s all a mind thing. A little stress is okay but too much can do serious damage

3. Eat HEALTHY – This should be all the time but especially now because stress releases chemicals that make it hard for your body to get rid of fats and sugars

4. SLEEP – Our college culture makes a joke out of all nighters but as in my previous post I told you all lack of sleep can cause a range of issues. get 6-8 hours, YOU’LL GET A BETTER GRADE!
